This study develops a novel approach for prioritizing hazards for the risk assessment of infrastructure. It is applied to hazard scenarios that could cause serious disruption to the infrastructure in the Øresund region over a period of 5 years.
From 1961-1990 to 1991-2016, Sweden’s annual average temperature rose 1°C, and it is projected to continue rising by another 2-7°C. Extreme heat events are becoming more common and are expected to happen even more frequently in the future.
