At waters edge: coastal resilience in Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines
An integrated approach to adaptation and disaster risk reduction:
This document reports on a project that aims to demonstrate that small island states governments and communities can enhance their resilience to climate change by protecting, restoring and effectively managing their marine and coastal ecosystems and by strengthening local capacity for adaptation. It considers adaptation as the process of adjusting to actual and expected climatic changes, like sea level rise and storm surge, while curbing impacts on human wellbeing.
