International and Indian researchers have decoded the secret behind the severe April-May heatwave conditions in India and linked it to the warming in the Arctic region.
- Study says temperature in the Arctic region is increasing more than twice as fast as the global average
- Global warming impact on the Arctic is resulting in heatwaves in India
- Researchers develop a mechanism to predict heatwaves in India four days in advance to help save lives
