International disaster and emergency resilience 2011
International Disaster and Emergency Resilience (IDER) is a conference, with exhibits, where best practices and solutions to ensure readiness for, response to, recovery from and resilience for disasters and major emergencies, whether caused by nature, accident or terrorism are identified, implemented and shown. It has also become an international network of emergency responders
The main theme for this year's conference will be ‘The impact of climate change’ with a particular focus on the requirement for community resilience. The IDER 2011 conference, based on the the need for community resilience and integrated disaster management, will include: case studies, community resilience, informed prepared together project, integrated emergency response, vital resources in disaster response, and medical aspects of disaster.
