Description

Management of Natural and Human Induced Hazards aims at acquiring knowledge on the natural and environmental risks and their interpretations, the analysis of the natural processes which are related to disasters, the social and economic impacts of disasters, the concept of vulnerability, the use of modern technologies for the management of disasters, the prevention policies and the preparedness, as well as the emergency and disaster recovery management.

Target audience

The postgraduate programme aims at educating officials who will be in position to plan and manage interventions at different scales in the urban and regional space, at training specialists who will be able to work in public sector, private sector and/or third sector organizations, and at promoting research and production of original knowledge in the domain of Applied Geography and Spatial Planning.
