Gambia: Reducing the impact of hazards

The National Disaster Management Agency will bring a multi-stakeholder participatory approach at all levels and will integrate DRR in sustainable development policies and planning in order to promote a transparent, systematic and consistent approach to disaster risk assessment and management, said Permanent Secretary, Lamin Nyabally at a recent workshop. Recommendations including engaging the media, health and education sectors.
