Canadian Construction Association: Infrastructure has to adapt to climate change

“Climate change adaptation. There’s no question that that will be a major theme of infrastructure strategy and planning in Canada going forward,” told Michael Atkinson, president of the Canadian Construction Association in an interview with the Daily Commercial News. The Federation of Canadian Municipalities initiated the Municipal Infrastructure Forum to advocate a sustained long-term infrastructure funding which would ensure climate change adaptation as well.
