GNDR invites applications for implementing Views from the Frontline 2019 as National Coordinating Organisations. VFL 2019 will be implemented in 50 countries across Asia, the Pacific, Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa. It will capture the local perspectives on resilience, but also monitor the extent to which local actors are included in resilience planning.

This flagship report is a vehicle to show-case Member States progress towards the implementation of the Sendai Framework, to assess global risk trends, and to present innovative research and knowledge to enhance understanding of disaster risk in all its dimensions, thereby supporting risk reduction efforts.
