Our climate nonprofit's climate innovations' promotion mandate rests on 3 pillars; climate innovation, incubation and advocacy while remaining broad, contemporary and inclusive. Our latest initiative Blockchain4CCaS – A Blockchain technology led ‘Proof-of-Concept and Public Use Case i2 Initiative - modeled as an ‘Innovation Lever’, is aligned with our ‘Innovation for Public Good’ mandate and is geared to spur wide stakeholder dialogue on emerging trends, public good white space applications, challenges and benefits of this promising and transformative technology to the Climate Change and Sustainability domain and help catalyze ‘responsible innovation’ action to support sustainable development.
DRR is identified as one the promising themes for this technology transformative application and impact potential.

As part of the #Blockchain4CCaS ; Blockchain Initiative, several trends, public use cases and proof-of-concepts demo video related to the blockchain application potential for the SDGs goals and titled 'SDGH#Power' - including SDG Goal 11 - are presented for wide stakeholder uptake and following the 'leave no one behind' principle.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
