Nigeria: NEMA set to develop national disaster management framework

According to the Nigerian news agency, the framework has been developed by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and is intended to focus on institutional capacity, disaster risk reduction, preparedness, response/recovery and facilitation.

'For the framework to have the desired commitment and ownership from relevant players, there is need for wide consultation and inputs' the statement said.
