King Mswati: Swaziland gained a lot from UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction

Having returned from the third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, King Mswati III said Swaziland had gained a lot by being be part of the discussions and from the experiences gained through the regional and national strategies and plans for disaster risk reduction, reports Times of Swaziland.

According to the article and citing Japan’s experience dealing with disasters, the King recommended their development, but said despite their high technology, it was challenging to detect if a disaster was coming, reports Times of Swaziland.
