Calling GRIPweb users: invitation to participate in user survey

Source(s): Global Risk Identification Program

The Global Risk Identification Program is a 6 year program (2006-2012) implemented by UNDP. In this final year of implementation, UNDP has commissioned a forward looking evaluation of the Program. The evaluation is being conducted by an independent evaluator.

GRIPWeb is a website developed under the Program and serves as an online knowledge management center that serves as an open platform for risk assessment professionals, practitioners, and policy/decision makers. GRIPWeb allows users to share practices and experiences; disseminate and generate risk data, information and knowledge; develop methodologies, tools, and guidelines; and build skills in risk assessment. It has five key functionalities: Online content management, data and file repository, online trainings, community of practice, and online mapping services. GRIPWeb is accessible at http://www.gripweb.org

As a part of the evaluation and also to guide the ongoing process of improvement of GRIP Web, a survey is being conducted. This is being administered by the evaluator. Please fill in and email your responses by 26 July 2012 to the evaluator at regoloy [at] gmail.com.

Please also indicate if you have participated in any of the GRIP related activities nationally or regionally and are interested and willing to participate in the wider evaluation of GRIP activities and products, including commenting on the guidelines, tools and training courses on risk assessment.
