Asia: ABU works to improve disaster warnings

With support from the secretariat of the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) recently launched the ABU Early Warning Broadcast Media Initiative to encourage and instruct members to improve their own broadcast warning systems reports Radio World.
