Attaining the Sendai Framework Target ‘E’ on National and Local DRR Strategies

Nationally developed and adopted DRR strategies should provide a clear vision, guide the development of action plans, enable participation of all concerned stakeholders and enhance coordination within and across sectors.

The consultative workshop, being organized following the ISDR-Asia Partnership (IAP) Forum, will focus on building a common understanding of how countries and sub-national governments can develop DRR strategies that enable them to achieve the goals of the Sendai Framework.
