From the paradigm shift that meant the creation of the National System for Comprehensive Risk Management - SINAGIR - at the end of 2016, national legislation officially incorporates the private sector as one of the pillars of Risk Management.

Analytical Intelligence System Research (AISR) established ARISE Brazil and has been heavily active in the Global ARISE network securing a member of the Global ARISE Board. Especially the ‘Making Smart Cities’ initiative has the focus of ARISE Brazil.

In August 2017, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) became a member of the Global ARISE initiative. Later in March 2019,  ARISE INDIA Network was launched by  UNDRR SRSG Ms Mami Mizutori, in New Delhi , India.

ARISE Southern Africa was established in the Spring of 2020, led by the Africa Business Group. The network is especially active in building resilience for SMEs as well as in engaging the financial sector and the tourism sector.

ARISE East Africa was established in 2020, led by Safety Instructors and Planners K Limited and Eastern Africa Humanitarian Private Partnership Platform. It is especially active in the ARISE Global Priority 1 on building the resilience of SMEs.

Red Nacional de Apoyo Empresarial a la protección Ambiental (ECORED), a business association with the objective to facilitate the incorporation of a culture of social responsibility and sustainable development leads ARISE Dominican Republic.

Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) leads ARISE Dominica and actively engages with the regional and global ARISE community. ARISE Dominica especially focuses on SME resilience in their ARISE capacity.
