This publication, with the aim of showing the “how it was done”, summarizes the experiences of cooperation during the immediate response to the damages caused by Hurricane Sandy, specifically to the housing fund in the provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Holguin. NGOs, Red Cross, the UN agencies above-referred, and OXFAM -coordinated by UNDP- took part in the documentation of all the experiences.
