Climate finance for addressing loss and damage

The report considers the financial scale of international assistance required to minimize and redress climate-induced loss and damage. It discusses possible financial sources and distribution channels inside and outside the financial architecture of the Paris Agreement. It also provides guidance in how far the different options respond to climate justice principles as mutuality, solidarity and accountability. It concludes with policy recommendations how to come to tangible solutions.
