The objectives of this plan are to help Ghana build her capacity in drought resilience through concrete actions for drought preparedness. It will help boost the resilience of people, communities and ecosystems against drought.
This national climate change adaptation plan aims to prevent and limit the negative consequences of climate change on development in the medium and long-term in Togo. It builds on the 2009 National Adaptation Programme for Action (NAPA).
The preparation of this National Progress Report has been undertaken within the framework of the 2013-15 HFA Monitoring and Progress Review process, facilitated by UNISDR and the ISDR partnership.
This report presents the institutional and legal framework for disaster risk reduction in Togo, and describes its common disaster risks and natural hazards, such as flood, wild fire, land slide and epidemic.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
