Speaking at the launch of the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Preparedness Fund by the Office of National Security (ONS), President Ernest Bai Koroma declared: "The time for sentiment and sympathy is over, the law enforcement agencies should do the appropriate thing to keep the country safe...We must now enforce the law and free our country from the risk of disaster", reports MENAFN. "It would be cheaper to enforce prevention laws rather than wait for a response that may cost the country high", the report continued.
