Fifth anniversary of L'Aquila quake shows need for "culture of risk" in Italy
As Italy marks the fifth anniversary of the earthquake that killed over 300 people in L'Aquila, experts call for an appropriate legislation on natural disasters, reports Shanghai Daily. "Bills aimed at introducing tax reliefs on compulsory earthquake insurance for both citizens and insurance companies have been proposed in the past, but were never approved," said Riccardo Campagna, an expert in risk management.
