3. EU invests EUR 240 million for nature, environment and climate action More than 120 new projects will be funded under the LIFE programme for the Environment and Climate Action, helping Europe shift to a more sustainable and low-carbon future. 4. EEA report: The European environment - state and outlook 2020 (SOER 2020) SOER 2020 is the most comprehensive environmental assessment ever undertaken on Europe. 10. Evaluation of the Spanish National Adaptation Plan The Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition has completed a comprehensive evaluation of the National Adaptation Plan. The evaluation report makes 38 recommendations that will guide the preparation of the new Second National Adaptation Plan 2021-2030. |

Contest on projects dealing with impacts of climate change in Germany: Blauer Kompass The Federal Environment Agency (UBA) is acknowledging local and regional projects that make a real contribution to coping with the effects of climate change in Germany.
