UN’s objective in 2011 improved wellbeing of Armenian citizens and advanced democracy

In an email interview with NEWS.am, the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia looks back at 2010, noting increased interest and commitment to disaster risk reduction from national stakeholders 'paved the way to the establishment of the National Platform for DRR - a multi-stakeholder forum for coordination of all DRR-related issues and a foundation for the elaboration and implementation of national DRR strategy...'.
