The theme for the Winter 2017 issue is Regional Cooperation in Disaster Management.

The theme for the Winter 2017 issue is Disaster Preparedness and the deadline for first drafts is January 15, 2017.

After a successful first call, GFDRR and the UK Department for International Development (DFID) have announced a second call of the Challenge Fund, launching Aug 10. The fund pilots new and innovative approaches to strengthen disaster and climate risk decision-making and overcome challenges to availability and accessibility of risk information in developing countries.
