Bahrain: UN plan to fight disasters on way

TradeArabia reports on the forthcoming Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction to be launched in Bahrain on May 17. The country helped finance the UN report, which will bring to light the most disaster-vulnerable areas and how to minimize loss.

Of the financing commitment made, Shaikh Khalid said "this is part of our commitment to international community and because of our belief in such a key report aimed to draw global media and political attention to the problem".
