Description
To understand and, ultimately, to stop the negative impacts of disasters, it is essential that hazard and risk reduction sciences are comprehensively integrated into policy, recovery and development processes. The natural, social, health and engineering sciences must conduct studies together and produce results that can be easily understood by practitioners and policymakers alike.
