Certificate Programme in Disaster Management


Applications are invited from candidates in prescribed form for admission into the 5 days Certificate Programme in Disaster Management (DM).

Duration of the Programme:
The duration of Certificate Programme is of 05 days that includes comprehensive and multidisciplinary class teaching, assignment and presentation.

Course Fees:
A consolidated amount of Taka 6,000 (taka six thousand) only per person.

Subject areas

Basic Understanding of DRR Management and Approaches.

Admission Requirement

Admission is open to individuals, either Bangladeshi or foreign nationals, who have at least Honours/Pass Course Degree from recognized academic Institution. Individuals working in the fields of environment, disaster management, development, climate change having practical and professional experiences are encouraged to apply.

Prescribed application form for admission is attached herewith Submission of Application Form: The filled-in application form must be submitted to the office of the Institute of Disaster and Vulnerability Studies by 11 May, 2017., Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, Lecturer Theatre Building (1st Floor), University of Dhaka.
