Training Guide for the Training of Teachers in Earthquake Affected Areas

This Book has been designed in response to the needs identified by teachers and education professionals to help strengthen those teachers affected by earthquakes. The Book is designed to be practical and give the participants tools that they can use effectively in the classroom. It is not a theoretical course or a behavioural therapy course: it is a course with approaches and exercises that the teachers may find useful for their own lives as well as supporting their students. This training guide, which is part of a series including also a Workbook and a Resource Book for teachers, contains basic training tips; session plans that explain the objectives, the time allocated for the session, directions for the activities and the resource material for the teachers to read, and activities like tables, questions, case studies, role play scenarios.
