The International Spatial Planning Centre is a teaching and research entity of the Faculty of Spatial Planning of Technische Universität Dortmund focusing on international planning issues. It hosts the two Master Programs “Spatial Planning for Regions in Growing Economies and in the future “Spatial Planning in Europe”. In the areas of spatial planning in developing countries, spatial panning in Europe and comparative spatial planning it conducts and advises research initiatives, not least in the context of existing international university partnerships of the university and the faculty.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
