1. Developing Provincial Disaster Management Policy for PDMA, Government of Balochistan with funding support of Muslim Aid Pakistan.
2. Carried out Situation Analysis study, developed Hazard Profiling for developing FATA Disaster Management Plan with Islamic Relief Pakistan.
3. 14 months project on “Development of National Action Plan for the Implementation of Bangkok Principles on Health Aspects of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction” with Malteser International. The Action plan was developed under the patronage of NDMA and close collaboration of National Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Network (NHEPRN) and Provincial Health Departments.
4. Conducted four studies under a five month project on “Enhancing Health System Resilience in Sindh Province, Pakistan” with Malteser International. Under the project, various material including (a). Engaging community health workers in DRM, (b). Mainstreaming DRR into health sector, (c). Health preparedness plan for District Health Department Thatta and conducted series of courses in Sindh Province.
5. One year project on “Developing District Disaster Management Plans for District Ghotki, Kashmore, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur” with UNDP under Building Disaster Resilience Pakistan-I UK-DFID funding for PDMA Punjab and Sindh and were developed in close coordination of District Administrations and respective DDMAs.
6. Developed Evacuation Plan for Vulnerable Communities of Gwadar City, Pakistan with Oxfam GB.
7. Developed “Azad Jammu & Kashmir Road Map for Disaster Risk Management” Islamic Relief Pakistan for State Disaster Management Authority Azad Kashmir.
8. Developed “Road Map on Disaster Risk Management for Safer Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” with Islamic Relief Pakistan for Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
9. Developed District Disaster Management Plan for District Swat with Malteser International for DDMA and District Administration.
10. Conducted Hazard, Livelihood and Vulnerability and Developed District Disaster Management Plan of District Dera Ismail Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Khyber Agency with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Two years project on “Development of Training Curricula/Manuals and Delivery of Trainings of Trainers on Disaster Risk Management (English) for Government Officials and on Community Based Disaster Risk Management (Urdu) for community DMCs and volunteers in 20 disaster prone district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province” under ADP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa funding.

3. 10 months project on “Multi-Hazard Vulnerability and Risk Assessment Mapping (MHVRA) for Sindh Province” under World Food Programme WFP) funding through Asian Disaster Preparedness Center for NDMA, PDMA Sindh and five DDMAs.
4. Five month project on “Technical Hazard & Risk Assessment and Mapping and Cost Benefit / Effectiveness Analysis of DRR Interventions” with Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) funding for PDMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and District Administration and DDMU of Charsadda.

1. One year Community Based Disaster Risk Management Programme in Punjab Province, Pakistan, including 05 years CBDRM programme, developed training toolkit in English for Government officials and in Urdu language for community level DMCs and volunteers, run five days TOT-CBDRM and conducted 5 pilot courses through master trainers in five pilot districts of Punjab with close collaboration of PDMA Punjab under the WB-DCRIP funding
2. 10 months capacity building of local level Disaster Management Committees in District Muzaffargarh for WHH and in Rajanpur with CWW under the Building Disaster Resilience Pakistan-I UK-DFID funding. Different training manuals were developed in Urdu and various DRM related trainings were conducted in more than 180 villages in both districts.
3. Three months capacity building including developing of trainer’s guidebook, participant’s workbook and conducted Trainings of Trainers (TOT) on Reproductive Health based CBDRM and series of basic courses at community level on “Reproductive Health and Gender Based Violence/ Women Protection” under UNFPA funding at Jhnag District.
4. Implemented 7-month “Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) in district Chitral”, under UNDP’s SCORE Project with close collaboration of PDMA KP and DDMA Chitral.
5. Development of training toolkit and conducted health based CBDRM courses for Community Health Workers at Muzaffarabad, Islamabad and Gilgit under WHO funding with National Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Network (NHEPRN) and District Health Department.
6. National Focal Point for Asian Disaster Preparedness Center for “Program for the Enhancement of Emergency Response (PEER Phase III)”, where series of courses including Community Action for Disaster Response (CADRE), Hospital Preparedness (ADPC) Thailand for Emergencies (HOPE)courses during 2011-2015. NDMA is focal authority with 1122 Punjab, PRCS and NHEPRN as implementing partners.
2. National Focal Point for National Society of Earthquake Technology (NSET) Nepal for “Program for the Enhancement of Emergency Response (PEER Phase IV)”, where series of courses including Community Action for Disaster Response (CADRE), Hospital Preparedness for Emergencies (HOPE), Medical First Responder (WFR), Collapse Structure Search and Rescue and Water Rescue courses during 2015-2019. Conducting personnel and individual trainings for general awareness about DRR tools and measures.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
