The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction is looking for an experienced project manager to lead on an exciting and innovative action-research project “Views from the Frontline” designed to support the effective delivery of the Hyogo Framework for Action at the grassroots level. Officially launched in June 2007, the Global Network is a major international network of civil society organizations implementing and influencing disaster risk reduction policy and practice. The Project Manager will form part of a small UK-based secretariat reporting to the Network Steering Group who have overall responsibilities for the development, management and administration of network activities.

The post holder will assume project management responsibilities for designated areas of the Global Review process and other related Network tasks and activities. Ideally the successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
