Discussion on how concepts of socioeconomic resilience, exposure and hazard can be brought into a framework for risk scoring which can in turn be used by different stakeholders to better direct efforts for disaster risk management; building on the tools and methodologies developed by Maplecroft to provide a global basis for comparison of hazard risk, socioeconomic resilience and exposed assets and livelihoods.
