Crisis and recovery: Learning from COVID-19’s economic impact and policy responses in East Asia report launch

This report examines the economic consequences and government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic in six East Asian economies: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. These countries, while geographically close to each other, experienced the crisis differently and implemented a variety of measures to contain the spread of the virus and mitigate economic impacts with varying success.
