IGNITE Stage: Assessment of seismic site effect for Rawabi, first Palestinian planned city

Description

Referring to the Hyogo Framework for Action priority number 4, reducing the risk in the key sectors, this study details the assessment of seismic site effect (ASSE) that was carried out by the ESSEC for the construction of Rawabi City, the First Palestinian Planned City. The aim of the study is to avoid or mitigate seismic site effect, such as: landslides, amplification and faulting systems/fault ruptures.
