Description

Protecting cultural heritage needs to be incorporated into disaster management. Significant losses occur from disasters, and post-disaster demolition. Communities rely on and need these for social, spiritual, emotional and economic stability during disasters. They serve as community anchors, areas of refuge and maintain a sense of identity and need protection.
