Câmara Municipal da Amadora
This study aims to identify the major risks to the territory of Amadora to help in the production of a framework for the Municipal Emergency Plan and the Municipal Master Plan. It examines a decade of data, from 2000 to 2010, of hazard events recorded in the municipality of Amadora, such as flooding, land movement, rural fires, urban fires, gas leaks and road accidents. This data is examined in conjunction with climatological data from October 1915 to September 2012 in order to determine risk patterns or correlations between the changing climate and hazard events.
