Este boletín informa sobre DIPECHO programa, que se concentra en reducir la vulnerabilidad de la población ante desastres de origen natural y tiene como objetivo mejorar las capacidades de las comunidades expuestas a estos riesgos para que estén mejor preparadas y protegidas. Entre los proyectos regionales en Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú y Venezuela de esta nueva edición del boletín se incluye sistemas de alerta ante sismos y/o tsunami, educación, instrumento de auto-evaluación para gobiernos locales sobre la resiliencia a desastres, comunicación, simulacros y cartográfia. Además, se hace generalidades y próximos eventos.
Esta es la tercera edición bimensual del boletín informativo sobre proyectos implementados por socios en la región de América del Sur en el marco del Plan de Acción DIPECHO América del Sur 2011-2012 con financiamiento de la Unión Europea a través del Departamento de Ayuda Humanitaria y Protección Civil de la Comisión Europea (ECHO).
