It outlines the strategies, plans, projects and activities related to disaster prevention and risk management.
The report provides an evaluation of Australia’s progress, achievements and challenges in disaster risk reduction during the first half of the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR), and highlights suggested activities and plans for the rest of IDNDR.
