The Pacific Islands News Association reports about the consultation meeting organized by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and the Asia Pacific Adaptation Network (APAN) in Samoa. At the two-day event, Pacific Island climate change focal points and experts discussed issues such as the Pacific Environment Information Network (PEIN), knowledge management and climate change adaptation as well as adaptation finance.

"This meeting is an opportunity to share lessons we have learnt and identify what works and what did not work. It will help ensure that we move forward, together with success in addressing climate change adaptation," said Kosi Latu, Deputy Director-General for the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme
