The JTI Foundation resilience award: Call for award entries

IDRC Davos 2012 has the pleasure to announce the JTI Foundation Resilience Award of CHF 175’000.- for the best project proposal on resilience increase at city or community level submitted. Applicants are encouraged to visit the award website to find out more about the award and on the topics and conditions to submit online.

To be considered for the JTI Foundation Resilience Award, a project proposal must:
• focus on ways of increasing resilience at the city or community level
• make a real, measurable difference to the resilience of specific communities – as in the GRF Davos motto “From Thoughts to Action”
• clearly demonstrate how the project will increase resilience and how this progress will be assessed or measured

Projects that strongly bridge the gap between science and practice are especially welcome.

Deadline for submissions is 15 June 2012.
