TS7: World Reconstruction Conference Thematic Session 7: Lessons Learned from Large-Scale Reconstruction Operations

Description

To support learning from past recovery experiences, this session will identify and investigate lessons from large-scale reconstruction programmes in China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Colombia and others. While the focus will be on systemic challenges and successful approaches to overcome them, examples based on specifi c contexts will drive discussions. Aiming to reach consensus on lessons applicable to all or most settings, the session will capture key recommendations to be further investigated and disseminated.
