Oral and written statements by delegations

There was an opportunity in plenary for short oral statements by heads delegation under agenda item 3.1, "Interventions by heads of delegation and high level participants". On the first day of the session, Tuesday 5 June, priority is being given to statements by ministers and other high level participants. In view of the fact that on the first day only two hours are available for statements, the morning of the second day, 6 June, provided the opportunity for other heads of delegation to make statements.
