This seminar is designed to help participants understand and develop plans to save lives, minimize disaster damage and enhance disaster response operations, develop and test early warning system regularly, and plan measures to be taken during a disaster alert period to minimize potential loss of life and damages to physical properties.

Objective

To teach contemporary issues and thinking around DRR for strengthened DRR programming for among governments, organizations and communities.

Seminar Methodology

The course will include facilitated discussions, small group interactive exercises, large group discussions, role plays, plenary presentations and case studies.

Course Fee

USD 500

Fee includes two teas/coffees and mineral water per day, buffet lunches, training materials for participants, trainers’ consultancy fees and a certificate.
