A Conference on 'Disaster Preparedness in Hospitality Sector' is being organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), with the Global Forum for Disaster Reduction (GFDR) as the knowledge partner, on Friday, 6 August 2010 at PHD House, New Delhi. This event is being organized in the context of any future threats in the form of a disaster during the forthcoming prestigious Commonwealth Games of 2010.

Issues to be addressed:

- Impact of natural and man-made disasters on hospitality dector
- Initiatives to be taken by the stakeholders for their respective roles
- Do’s and don’ts
- Security and safety concerns – management and operations
