Egypt's business summit on climate change

UNDP, in collaboration with The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt), are organizing the ‘Egyptian Business Summit on Climate Change.’

This global Summit will focus on the dangers of climate change, its repercussions on Egypt, and the importance of private sector participation in combating this phenomenon.

The Summit will host USA's 45th Vice-President Al Gore as Keynote Speaker, in addition to a number of distinguished international experts and high-level corporate representatives from key countries in the developed and developing world to raise awareness and expose Egyptian companies to best practices on this important subject.

It is also expected that the Summit will be attended by the Egyptian Prime Minister, Minister of Environment, and Deputy Secretary General and Chair of the Policy Secretariat, the National Democratic Party, among other distinguished figures.
