Griffith Centre for Coastal Management (GCCM) in collaboration with the Australian Climate Change Adaptation Research Network for Settlements and Infrastructure (ACCARNSI) would like to invite you to participate in our workshop ‘Coastal Community Engagement under a Changing Climate’ on Wednesday 28 November, 9am to 3.30pm at the Smart Water Research Centre.

This workshop will highlight the work undertaken by the Griffith Centre for Coastal Management's Coastal Community Engagement Program as well as specific issues raised with current coastal developments. The workshop's case studies will focus on issues relating to effective coastal management and climate change adaptation. Case studies will include the Gold Coast A-line Seawall, Currimundi Lake and the Wooli Township. Presenters include Anne Leitch, CSIRO, Professor Paul Burton, Urban Research Centre, GU and Naomi Edwards and Peta Williams from the Griffith Centre for Coastal Management.
