Often based on outdated predictions, many public debates and political discourses of the recent years have highlighted the impact of climate change on migration. Research shows a very different picture, which does not correspond to these alarmist narratives. In this session, we look at the latest scientific evidence that exists of climate related displacement and discuss its humanitarian impact as well as priority policy action.
