We invite submissions for the 14th Aceh International Workshop and Expo on Sustainable Tsunami Disaster Recovery (AIWEST-DR 2022) under the theme of “Inclusive and Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction”. The conference aims to bring together academics and practitioners to share lessons and recent advances in multi-hazard disaster risk reduction, providing an interdisciplinary platform to further disaster scholarship and practice. This year's conference coincides with the Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and we encourage submissions that reflect on the progress of its implementation. AIWEST-DR 2022 is co-hosted by the University of Sydney, the Tsunami and Disaster Mitigation Research Center (TDMRC) at Universitas Syiah Kuala, and the International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) at Tohoku University. The conference will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing presenters and participants to engage through attendance either online or in-person on the University of Sydney campus in Australia.
