UN General Assembly 67th session: Statement delivered at the General Debate - Philippines (The)

A statement delivered to the 67th General Assembly annual General Debate by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, in which he valued the work being done in advancing natural disaster risk reduction management, being a country particularly prone to natural disasters, including those wrought by climate change. He stressed for global and regional cooperation through partnerships for strengthening the international humanitarian and emergency response system. He also reported that the Philippines has actively contributed to initiatives on human rights and extreme poverty, on human rights education, on combating trafficking in persons, especially women and children, and on climate change.
