About

The UKADR 2024 Conference will bring together academics, practitioners and funders with an interest in disaster risk reduction. This year there will be invited talks on case studies of positive collaborations across sectors to encourage evidence-based policy, participant breakout discussions around how to improve collaboration and assist practitioners to guide research conversations, primary research and practitioner presentations as well as flashtalks from early career researchers and practitioners to share current work, findings and challenges.  

Join us on Wednesday 26th and/or Thursday 27th June in central London – registration will open shortly and close on Wednesday 22nd May.  If you are wishing to present an oral or poster presentation or an early career flashtalk, please submit an abstract using the provided form before Wednesday 24th April. (Note presenters will need to register before 22nd May).

Outcome of submission: by 8th May 2024

Presenting authors must register following the outcome, and by 22nd May.

Image competition

Do you have an image related to your research or practice, or more generally related to disaster risk reduction that you would like displayed? The photo or digital art may be displayed on the website and we may hold a competition – you must be the producer of the image and hence own the copyright.
