Description

Japan's elderly population affected by East Japan Great Disaster lead recovery through their experience. Their recovery is not the same as the experience in the Awaji Kobe earthquake. They present a new disaster experience based on high deaths from tsunami. Their stories reveal that the elderly in Japan are not victims during a disaster but are important players in prevention and mitigation.
